Protecting our daughter's privacy
Our daughter is 11. She's at an awkward age — old enough to Google her own name and care about her digital footprint, but not quite old enough to fully consent to being publicly documented.
Will she thank us for keeping her offline 10 years from now? Or will she resent that her childhood was posted online? We can't predict, but we can make the conservative call now.
So BloomPath uses AI characters:
- Mei is the AI avatar of a real parent (Ethan's wife)
- Ethan is the AI avatar of a real parent (BloomPath founder)
- Luna is the pseudonym we use when referring to our daughter (she does not appear publicly)
That means: every illustration and video character you see is AI-generated; but all the content, advice, and "things we've lived through" stories are real — drawn from 11 years of actually parenting.
From newborn to pre-teen
0-2 years · The new-parent phase
Like every new parent: sleep-deprived, anxious about feeding, no idea why every cry was happening. We read a pile of books and discovered most of the advice contradicted itself.
2-4 years · The emotional storm
She started melting down in public, refusing everything, screaming "no!" at the world. We pieced together useful tools from Daniel Siegel's neuroscience, Jane Nelsen's positive discipline, and Dr. Becky Kennedy's attachment work. BloomPath's first ebook, The 90-Second Toddler Meltdown Playbook, comes from those two years.
4-6 years · Discovering Montessori
She started Montessori preschool. As parents we went deep — reading Maria Montessori's originals, talking with her teachers, bringing the methods home. This is when we realized: Montessori is not exclusive to classrooms.
6-11 years · Right now
She's 11 now, in Montessori elementary school. We're learning how she thinks, how she handles friendships, how she meets failure. We know 12-18 is a bigger challenge ahead — BloomPath will walk that road with her (and with your child) too.
What we are not
For full transparency, here's what we are not — so you have the right expectations of BloomPath.

Mei is not an AMS / AMI-certified teacher and has never taught in a preschool. We are Montessori-school parents who learned the methodology by living it.
❌ Not child psychologists or therapists
What we offer is a parent's perspective from the trenches, not clinical mental-health advice. For serious emotional, behavioral, or developmental concerns, please seek a qualified professional.
❌ Not formally trained in AI/ML
Ethan is a software engineer (10+ years) who taught himself to integrate AI to build BloomPath. No AI/ML degree, no Silicon Valley pedigree.
